Hi Leute, ich starte jetzt hier auch mal meinen Contest Worklog und beschreibe euch mal mit paar Worten was ich vor habe.

Das Case soll später die Grundform von einem standart Tower haben (ca. H/B/T 65/30/55cm) und zu 99% aus Alu bestehen und komplett passiv gekürt sein.
Die Seitenwände und der Deckel fungieren dabei als Radiatoren die selbst gebaut werden (Zeichnungen folgen)
Zudem wird der Innenraum luftdicht verschlossen. Im Innenraum des Cases soll sich die Luft durch thermic selbst umwälzen (Zeichnung folgt)
Außerdem wird das Case so gebaut das alle Komponenten innerhalb sehr kurzer Zeit ausgetauscht werden können.
Das Netzteil zum Beispiel bekommt ne eigene Box in der alle Anschlüsse sind. Dadurch kann man da einfach alle Kabel abstecken und das NT entnehmen ohne das die ganzen sauber verlegten kabel dabei auch mit raus müssen.

Das Case soll Mainboards bis zu ATX+ beherbergen können
Außerdem sollen 2 Grafikkarten und 12 HDDs Platz finden und gekühlt werden. Auch dafür werden Kühler aus Alu gebaut.

Mehr kommt dann heute Nachmittag.

Ach ja, ich Brauch noch nen namen für das Case.
Durch die einfache und praktische nutzbarkeit, und der speziellen kühlung dachte Ich dachte zuerst an "Intelligy"

Namensvorschlag: Passive Flexibility

Ok, klingt jetzt nicht sooooo toll, aber ich finde gerade die beiden Aspekte müssen im Namen sein.
Idee zum NT: Nimm doch nen vollmodulares und befestige die Anschlüsse innen fest, sodass das NT nach lösen der Sicherung einfach herausziehbar und einsetzbar ist (wie bei Servernetzteilen).
Sowas wollte ich immer mal haben

EDIT: Wofür brauchst du 12 FESTPLATTEN?!

Nein, das NT soll Serie bleiben, das jeglicher Hersteller und Modell rein passt.

HDDs Brauch ich deswegen so viele, da ich einen Festplatten Reciver und eine Frau hab die alles mögliche an Spielfilmen und Serien aufnimmt. Das braucht Platz

HDDs kann man nie genug haben, die Frage ist nur, wie groß ist ein HDD? Was bringt ein Server-NT, wenn er das von Enermax verwenden muss bzw. sichtbar positionieren soll - OK, es steht nichts von verwenden dabei

Bei mir sind es gerade 3TB, die voll sind aber die ich mal leeren könnte, da ich schon alle gesehen habe. 2 TB davon sind nur Bluray-Sicherheitskopien mit min. 1072. So habe ich wenigstens eine gute Quali auf dem TV.

Komme aber derzeit nichtmal mehr dazu mir Filme anzuschauen.

Sind die 4TB auf 4 Discs aufgeteilt und du hast am Ende 12TB oder wie ist es geplant?

Ich hab aktuell ein Raid 5 (4x 1Tb WD Platten, 3tb nutzbar) 2x WD Veliociraptr 150gb im Raid 0 (für BS)
Und noch 3 weitere Platten verbaut.
Ich hab aber noch 1x 1tb und etliche andere Platten rum liegen. Da werd ich dann alle großen sammeln und einbauen, bzw ein paar kleinere die aktuell drin sind raus schmeißen.

Sehr interessantes Projekt! Sowas ist voll mein Ding - komplett passiv, selbstgebaute Radiatoren und vor allem die Geschichte mit der Thermik! Klingt auf jeden Fall vielversprechend und nach mächtig viel Arbeit! Ich bin sehr gespannt und werde deinen Work-Log aufmerksam verfolgen!
