Der Schrott-Mod X

Hallo WMI,

seit ein paar Wochen bin ich auch gelegentlich wieder am Modden und werde zur DCMM mal wieder mit was neuem am Start sein.

Zum Anfang will ich mich hiermit bei den Firmen aquatuning, Cosmic-Color und Liquilux für die unterstützng sowie die zügige Lieferung.

Bisher wird nur soviel verraten dass es ein Casecon wird, den es so noch nicht gab.

Die Technik habe ich schon bestellt und bekommen, soweit funktioniert alles...

...die Hardware besteht aus einem ASUS AM1l-A Board, einem AMD Athlon 5350 (4x 2050 MHz), einer 60 GB Kingston SSD, 8 GB Geil Black Dragon, einem mATX Netzteil, USB DVD-Brenner, Logitech K360 und T650

Aktuell habe ich mir 3 Zylinder gebaut und schon das Plexiglas zum schneiden vorbereitet...

Sehr schön! Mal wieder was vom Maik.

Auf was ich am meisten gespannt bin - wie du die Wasserkühlung mit dem Sockel AM1 realisieren wirst.

Ich hab mir da für ein Projekt auch ein paar Gedanken zu gemacht - ist nicht unmöglich, aber auch nicht ganz einfach es ordentlich zu lösen.

Soviel kann ich schon verraten, die CPU wird nicht wassergekühlt, aber eine Wasserkühlung habe ich trotzdem bestellt.

Ja, hat es und die Menge reicht auch, hatte das gestern nochmal geprüft.

Ich weiss jetzt nicht genau was an einer AM1 Kühlung so speziell ist, ich habe eine geringe Abwärme und zwei Bohrungen in der Platine.

... allein dadurch, dass eine keine Kühler gibt. Der Sockel ist winzig, also lässt sich nicht jeder Kühler auf dem Markt so einfach anpassen. Außerdem über die beiden Löcher den Anpressdruck zu erzeugen den du brauchst um gegen asymetischen Kräfte vom Schlauch einen gleichmäßgien Anpressdruck zu erzeugen sollte man in Richtung einer Backplate gehen. Wenn du mal dein Board umdrehst wirst du feststellen, dass es auch nicht ohne ist.

Zumindest war das bei den Boards die ich gesehen habe so.

Deswegen habe ich mich insgeheim vielleicht auf eine Eigenbaulösung gehofft, als ich das Board gesehen habe.

Mal was anderes: Ich habe hier noch so eine Smartcard mit Leser, eine Reiner-SCT. Ich kann die nicht im Windows anmelden um mich damit zu authentifizieren was bei einem Showrechner eigentlich ganz sinnig wäre, hat jemand erfahrung mit sowas? Windows meldet mir dass ich ein ungültiges Zertifikat habe!? Gibts da Windows 7 Treiber? Das Teil ist ja auch nicht mehr das neueste.

In die Deckplatte hebe ich bisher einige Kreise geschnitten, mit Hilfe des Oberfräsaufsatzes von Dremel und einem einfachen Fräser...

...sowie die Gewinde in die AGBs geschnitten...

...zurzeit bin ich dabei den Boden in Form zu bringen.

Sauber. Wie dick ist das Plexi, nicht das es dir beim anziehen bricht, bzw wird das überhaupt dicht wenn die Dichtung vom Anschluss nicht glatt aufliegt?

Die Verschraubungen habe ich extra noch eingeklebt, aber du hast Recht das ist ganz schön grenzwertig ein 5mm Gewinde in nur 3mm einzuschrauben. Zur Sicherheit habe ich das 2 Tage randvoll befüllt in der Küche stehen gehabt. Ich denke auch dass der Pattex 100% Crystal dafür genau die richtige Wahl war, mit dem werde ich hier auch weiter arbeiten.

So nun zu meinem Update:

Ich habe die letzten Tage die untere und obere Bodenplatte gefertigt, ganz einfach mit dem Oberfräsaufsatz von Dremel und dem Kreisschneider....

...sowie die Ausschnitte für den Radiator und Lüfter...

Endlich kam auch mal meine Tauchsäge (Scheppach CS55) zum Einsatz...

Die 2 Grundplatten vor dem schleifen...

...und der erste Test ob die Abstände passen...
