Compared to a standard computer mouse it is really huge. I like the combination of black and and chrome and the red illumination.

The painting looks good, but the surface is not 100percent smooth. All over all I think you made a good job and it is a really good project.

hi ringo, yep its good eneough i think, never sad it was perfect, but i am satisfied, well actually not, i never am.
that will always be the difference between all or most of the other modders and myself.
i use paint sucking materials, thats really a bitch of an ordeal getting it as perfect as plexi and acryl and metal sheets.#but it always enable me to make
unusual and sometime ipmossible hard looking forms. i love that challenge, i loath the PC block 6 sided, 8 cornered case.
the paint looks better in real life though. being black makes every little speck of dust even throw a shadow and look bad with the standard camera.
If anyone here thinks they can make a better job of making such a form from metal and plastics, (without automation, which would also not be easy)
then they can be my guest. I would like to see this form in anything but wood made by a modder.. but of course, wood sucks paint.

so das wars leute, jetzt liegt es nicht mehr in mein hand.

seit jahren trage ich diese idee mit mir, seit 3 jahre modde ich intensiver als sonst, dann ein jahr intensiver planung und organisation.

anschliessend danach auch 6 monate bauzeit, mit alle erfolge und rückschläge. jetzt war ich gerade bei de post.

beweis video und fotos samt unterlagen etc.. sind alle auf dem weg nach england-london zu guinness.

ich wurde lügen wenn ich sagen wurde ich bin nicht nervous oder emotional. es ist ein kleine klub wo ich dann auch dabei bin,

natürlich in der kategorie GWR durch eigene leistung und nicht angeborene ohne.

aber jetzt heist es zittern für mich. danke an PCGH für die videos und bilder und das ganze arbeit als zeugen.

wenn es klappt, dann weis ich es nächste woche oder danach. die auszeichnungs urkunde kommt bald danach.

ich weis jetzt das der D.C.M.M. COLOSSUS der erste casemod in die geschichte des casemodding weltweit ist,

der ein Guinness Weltrekord status bekommen wird, darauf bin ich sehr stolz.

und ich finde, bzw. hoffe sehr das es über die jahre danach auch irgendwie dazu beitragen kann das modding besser weiter lebt.

es ist unsere, rekord jungs. jetzt bitte keine debatten darüber wieder wen es wirklich gehört wie am anfang.

ich habe den D.C.M.M. Colossus gebaut, und darf es deshalb entscheiden. also es ist unsere rekord. (hoffentlich).

wenn keiner was dagegen hat wurde ich gerne ein gruppenfoto auf der DCMM mit der Guinness Urkunde und uns alle machen.

super Leistung!!! und auf den Bildern sieht die Oberfläche ja schon nahezu perfekt aus...bei weitem besser als auf den Bildern von dir zu Hause.

Freue mich jetzt vor allem auf die Ressonanz/ die berichte über die Maus...sollten ja schon ein paar sein.

I am taking on this challenge for next year! It won't be a mouse though but it has quite comparable complex shapes.
I am stuck knee deep in all sorts of shit at the moment but as soon as it's over I will start my worklog.

Ich denke die sind für die Stabilität des gesamten Pads. Wäre die leisten nicht, wäre das Pad ja hohl und man könnte sich bestimmt nicht draufstellen...zum Beispiel.

@ maik, ne der hänger habe ich in 2011 für der HELLRIDER.

@ semme ja stabilität ist richtig aber mit ein hintergedanke.
@ paladin, ja die sind dehlab so angeordnet damit die nebel jet strahlen etwas hingelenkt werden und auch stabilität rein bringen.

so guys, dies mouse pad kriegt zwar ein paar features noch aber in grunde ist es ein nebelmaschinen erweiterung und reisen presenter, auch für andere exponate nutzbar. die latten verleihen stabilität und gleichzeitig auch lenken sie das hinten montierte nebeler in die seitlich und vorne angebracht ösen düsen so das der exponat, hier der D.C.M.M. COLOSSUS in nebel steht. wenn akustische led steuerung an ist soll es der nebel etwas interessanter machen.
schade das es in die hall nicht so dunktel sein wird. ich kriege der nebel test leider ziemlich schlecht auf mein kamera. der nebel ist sichtbar aber nicht wirklich auf die fotos.

es ist ca. 6.5 cm hoch und hohl, alles mit 3 schichten harzlack lackiert für a bissla schutz gegen evtl. feauchtigkeit. ich habe eh ein winzige fogger also grosser ansammlungen von nebel innen drin wird es nicht geben, ausserdem kriegt er ein absaug fan zum entleeren.

ein paar features kommen noch. die jets funktionieren aber super. ränder andern sich sehr noch.

Ah ok, das hast du ja vorher noch nicht geschrieben gehabt das da eine Nebelmaschiene rein soll. Aber wäre es nicht schöner wenn die Maschiene selbst irgendwo auf den Boden Kommt und nur ein Schlauch zum Pad geht?

hatte auch vorher ein schlauch, gefällt mir aber nicht das da was rum liegt dann. ich will hier ein einzige einheit haben. alles ein teil.

Du sagst das du den rauch nicht richtig fotografieren kannst, dann mach mal den Blitz aus

Ich mache fast alle Fotos mit dem Handy ohne blitz.

hi nov, well i wouldnt use it as a mouse for a game, unless you are gulliver. otherwise it works fine. am surprised how fine i managed to get it working. plan a to z all worked. the plan was to be my most extremely high performance pc so far. but once again i gave up looking for
sponsors and just about got down to doing what i love more, casemodding.

i wish i could have put in all the initial planned hardware but due to lack of finances and supportives i reduced it to the affordable.
investing time and energy in the casemod making as i wanted was the priority and more acceptable expense for me, besides guinness
cost me quite a sum too.
anyway, this baby has an SSD 128 hyper-x and 16 gigs of hyperbeast sponsored by kingston, enermax fans by enermax and the rest is all my own bought so just a core2 celeron unfortunately an old msi 1155 board. i mean this dude runs up in 8 seconds so thats great.
like i said, the case is my subject not the hardware so once again i have done without liquid cooling, even though this time i had one left from last year. grafik card is on board but of course the whole case is upgradable. the case istself is actually a noname ACER office
PC case so also found new life here.

dont forget to briung your flatumeter, am sure we can find some volunteers to test it after eating beans on toast.
