XBOX Mod

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe gestern was tolles in meinem Speicher gefunden: eine alte (die erste) XBOX :thumbup:

Dann war für mich schon klar was mein erster mod wird ;)

Hier mal die Grundidee:

Ich werde zwischen Boden und Deckel der XBOX ein Zwischenstück einfügen, das ein normales PC-Case (schwarz) ist.

Bei 2 Seitenwänden werde ich dann ein grünes Plexiglas einbauen, so dass man auch ins Innere schauen kann.

Außerdem kommen grüne LED-Lüfter rein.

Vorne wo man normalerweise die Controller anschließt, kommen USB-Anschlüsse rein.

Dann werde ich anstatt des Original-Laufwerks ein Blue-Ray LW einbauen, aber die Original-Blende bleibt.

Der Einschaltknop wird dann das XBOX-Emblem :D


So mal die ersten Gedanken.

Am Wochenende werde ich auch eine Skizze reinstellen :)

Was sagt ihr zu der Idee?

EDIT:
- Das Teil wird jetzt doch nicht grün, sondern rot :thumbup:
- Ich kriege alles in das Original-Case unter, sodass ich kein extra Zwischenstück einfügen muss

also die Skizze dauert noch ein wenig, da ich noch nicht genau weiß, ob ich das Mainboard am Boden oder an die Seite mache.

Hiermal die Hardwarekomponenten, was die "neue XBOX" haben sollte:
- Prozessor: Intel Core i5-2300 (4x 2.8GHz)
- RAM: 4096 MB DDR3 1333MHz
- Grafikkarte: ATI Radeon 5450 1GB DirectX 11 (DVI, VGA & HDMI Anschluss)
- Mainboard: Asus P8H67-M LX (Gigabit LAN, 7.1 Onboard Soundkarte)
- Festplatte: 1 - 1,5 TB SATA 300
- Laufwerk: Blue-Ray LW
- Netzteil: mind. 420 Watt
- Kühlung: grüne LED-Lüfter
- Sonstiges: TV-Karte

Hier mal die Skizze vom Deckel (erstmal freihändig gezeichnet):


Die roten Stellen werden transparentes Plexiglas (mit integrierten Waben) mit roter LED-Beleuchtung.
Gestern mal ein Dummy gebaut, um zu testen:


Dann schonmal das XBOX-Logo aus dem Case geschnitten und poliert:
