Uk Modding Trophy, The Stronghold, FINAL PIX!!!

Hi guys, endlich zum ersten mal hat mein Insel auch ein kleine meisterschafft. Ist sicher nichts in vergleich zum DCMM aber

alles fängt mal klein an. THE FIRST UK MODDING TROPHY, und ich bin dabei, auch wenn ich nichtmal momentan in England lebe. Ich freue mich echt extreme, erste und schon dabei aus dem Ausland, Wahnsinn.

Ein riesen ehre ausgewählt zu werden. Und ihr könnt euch vorstellen das ich mehr al motiviert bin mein Englischer brudern zu zeigen was

Wir Anglo-German Modders bauen können. also leute druckt die Daumen für mich.

Vielen Dank and Thermaltake, Bit-Tech und Scan das ich dabei sein darf beim ersten UK Modding Trophy.

Announcing The Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy powered by Scan

Published on 11th February 2016 by Antony Leather

It is with great excitement that we can announce that the UK has its very own modding competition in 2016!

Thanks to a collaboration between bit-tech, Thermaltake and Scan, a band of five of the UK's best modders are to compete in building case mods based on Thermaltake's Core X31 chassis.

The competition has started and all the modders have until April 27th to complete their projects. Each will be receiving all the hardware and water-cooling gear they need to make their creations including an Intel Core i5-6600K, HyperX Fury 8GB RAM, Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha motherboard, HyperX Savage 240GB SSD, Asus Strix GTX 970 and Thermaltake Smart DPS G 750W Gold PSU.

Key dates:

Wednesday 27th April: Modding finishes
Friday 29th April: Community vote in bit-tech's forum
Wednesday 4th May: Winner announced

Here are the five projects underway in our forum:

Exsectus by Maki role

Magma Core by F3nixMods

MODZERO OCTO by HackJoe

Pink and Wet by davido_labido

POD II, The Stronghold by abbas-it
The case our steely-eyed modders will be working with is Thermaltake's Core X31 chassis and, as you'd expect, these systems will be water-cooled too using Thermaltake's own hardware including blocks, radiators, pumps, reservoirs and fittings. The goal? To create the best water-cooled case mod by extensively modifying the case through painting, cutting, adding acrylic, wood, 3D printed parts - anything they can lay their hands on.

The winners will be decided by a community vote and will be combined with a vote by our panel of judges including members of bit-tech, Thermaltake and Scan, which has graciously sponsored much of the hardware. We'll be scoring the projects based on how well their concepts have been executed, their originality and overall look. We'll be announcing the winner on May 4th - just under three months away.

Prizes:

First: Fligh, Hotel and Thermaltake office tour in Taiwan during Computex tradeshow

Second: Poseidon Z RGB keyboard, Ventus X mouse, Shock 3D Headset

Third: Challenger Prime RGB mouse & keyboard Combo, Shock Headset

**All modders get to keep their hardware too**

auf jeden fall ist ein haufen flashy teuere hardware ist zwar schon ung gut aber nix wert wenns kein selbstdesignte case hat also lets mod.

hast du zweifel ob ich ein gemoddete case liefern werde.

vertragsbedingt und für mein worklog poste ich auch alles was ganz sicher rein kommt. weil später weis keiner mehr was was ist, wenn ich damit fertig bin.

heute kommt doch kein update mehr, sondern morgen.
jetzt fahre ich erst zu meine lieber nicht, sie kocht für uns. yummy yummy...

Grad wollte ich schreiben hmmm.... erninnert mich etwas an diesen Casemod von dir -> P.O.D. Asus
dann hab ich überlegt warte mal was hat er denn hier für ein Konzept :whistling:

und siehe da oben steht ja PODII the Stronghold.

Wird also am Ende ähnlich wie der Asus Mod?

Ja so ist es THE POD war eigentlich der anfang von ein konzept. deshalb ist hier der POD II. die werden konzeptionell gleich, also tilted hardware, aber design technisch anders sein.
Da ich den POD Concept Developer bin, darf ich das. Eigentlich mache ich es so weil der POD I habe ich nicht merh, war ein Auftrag, also baue ich mir eine hier mit etwas mehr zeit, wobei der 12 Tage mod PODI finde ich auch super gelungen.

hi guys n dolls, so its time for a little update.
i didnt quite finish but am getting there as far as the base is concerned, its almost fully covered now in its stealthy slanted side walls.
I also got rid of the upper 3rd of the case. this core x31 is really wide. anyway, i want that you see the grafik card and most of the hardware better.
i rivetted on some angle aluminium profiles and then cut off the sides,.
note that all these side walls will not be visible later.

THE POD, is a concept.
da diese konzept mein erfindung ist, aber ich es weg geben musste, war es eine frage der zeit bis ich wieder mal eins baue. POD als konzept aber trotzdem anders von design her. wer weis vielleicht in der nahe zukünft gibt es POD machinen in verschiedene designs zu kaufen. diese konzept kommt gut an. open system die leicht aufrüstbar, optisch der hammer und sehr attraktiv ist. das wäre mal was oder, weiter schauen... wer weis... das ist sicherlich nich der letzte POD... get it...

so guys n dolls, heute ging auch etwas and THE STRONGHOLD.

ich habe das Basis fertig und dann das tilter mit case damit verheiratet. dann habe ich zwei Öffnungen rein geflext im case vorne wo ich die 2 Radiatoren befestigt habe mit winkel alu. mit die seitliche innere stutzen habe ich auch angefangen nachdem ich auch das Netzteil platziert habe. die kann auch mit ein schraube befestigt und entfernt werden.

ein grosser unterschied bisher ist vielleicht für euch alle sichtbar gegenüber mein erste POD. diese hier ist links rechts symettrisch.

innen wird es nicht ganz so bleiben weil die Reservoirs kommen wahrscheinlich links und cpu ist eben nur rechts.

sind zwar grob und unschon, aber die werden eh nicht sichtbar sein, aber dadurch konnte ich das case sauber durchschneiden ohne da es sich verzieht. wie es nich geht hat ein gewisser modder auf der dcmm in 2009 oder 2010 gezeigt. war danach nicht brauchbar

hi guys n dolls, so heuet habe ich einige teile gebaut. der front blende ist abnehmbar weil ich da das original case usb und audio blende mit eingebaut habe.
auch die kabeldurchführungen nutze ich hinten. das hintere platte ist geschnitten so wie einige andere seiten platten.
