You are right, but there are several hemp componenta available. Currently I didn´t rembember the accurate wording which I used to find an example picture. But it was no term from the building equipment industry.

But if I look behind the linked picture than it is clear that is this will be used for sealing plumbers.

But I think you have to agree that the surface of your shammy is more like this plumbers gar than real leather.

well yes, in a certain way it does look like that and not look like one side polished leather, yes. but i can live with that, the case itself and the leather strap holders will be shiny and with these leather strips and the chrome parts it will have a certain contrast i guess. i also bought some jute rope which i havent used yet, for the straps i still like the self made strips better.
still have some ideas for the rear where i will be giving away a few more surprises again. i do hope that i manage to bend the bokken like i want to though.

USB

er hat ein USB stick drin also bei diesem mod steht USB für
Universal Samurai Bokken
ich habe ein bending prop gebastelt mit halter in der klingen form damit es nicht beschädigt wird.und jetzt bin ich gespannt wie ein bokken prop :lol:

wie es morgen ausschaut, etwas mehr als erwünscht gebogen da es erfahrungsgemäß etwas zurück springen wird.

Sehr schön bin gespannt wie sehr der Universal Samurai Bokken in dieser Form bleibt. Hast noch ein bisschen denn Heißluftföhn dran gehalten wegen denn par duncklen stellen am Holz.

wenn du meinst wegen obs verbrannt ist, nee das ist im holz schon drin. jetzt trocknet er vorm heizungsgerät.
hab zwar alle möglich span, sperrr und platten gebogen aber das hier ist für mich absolute neuland, massiv holz biegen.
ich war glaube ich seit der dcmm 2010 nie so neugierig obs klappt beim ersten mal. wenn nicht dann wird das system verbessert bis es klappt.

und es ging, zwar wenig aber etwas an der bokken weiter, endlich wieder ein Alan-Lee Markenzeichen, ein Skull,,,,,eeehaaaaaaaaa!
gott sein dank war wieder mal halloween letztes jahr, es wird noch eingearbeitet nd etwas dekoriert, also der bokken ist auch weit von fertig.
aber die biegung ist super. muss noch alles geschliffen wedren, der hand guard habe ich doch quadratisch gemacht, kommt eher vor als rund.
