Alan Lee / CNC Model 1, Eigenbau

Hi Guys, well seeing as the Input Devices Contest is over, I would like to introduce you to my first effort CNC Mill.
es ist alles aus MDF und es funktioniert super. Ich habe noch etwas an die elktronik zu basteln damit ich es nicht dauernd an PC anschliesen muss.
Ich baue mir ein console aus ein alte 533 MHz IGEL Thin Client. Windows 2000 reicht völlig aus.
Anyway, more details to come.

I like your idea, and I want to use how you solve it. Can you alse add some information about the cnc milling? I think is interesting what you can do with is, and which material you can mill.

Bilder batch one

die ersten bilder, ohne erklärung, texte kommen noch dazu.
ich habe ein neue elek kit pack die ich weiter in die nächsten tage erläutern werde.

also es gibt sicher bessere, aber mein cnc funzt super hat kein spiel, das wäre not so amusing at all.
sobald er 100 prozentig fertig ist gibst auch videos.
es hat 3 axen xy und z. materialhöhe sogar bis 15cm, hat ein eingebaut punktlicht. verfahrweg begrenzer switches. not schalter.
die gewindestangen sind handelsübliche von obi, kugellager von ebay etc.. step motor kuppler habe ich selber an mein drehmaschine gedreht.
mittlerweile weis ich die wären in eby günstige gewesen. aber selbst gebaut ist selbstgebaut.
ing runde bis auf die stepper steuerungskarte und motoren ist nichts wirklich von dedizierte cnc shops.
er heisst model 1 da ich irgendwann demnächst an ein aus alu anfangen möchte, ist halt deutlich teuerer.
ich bin momentan nur damned busy because of the ce-bit.
verfahr weg 45x45 cm, holz, plexi und in grunde alle art von kunststoffe bis 8mm.

Einfach Klasse! Wenn man das richtige Werkzeug nicht zur Hand hat, baut man es sich einfach!

Aus Fehlern lernen wir.
Und wenn uns niemand auf unsere Fehler aufmerksam machen würde - wie könnten wir dann lernen ohne jedesmal auf die Nase zu fliegen?!

bauplan, ich habe davon gehört, sowie beim OCC.
neine eigentlich bin ich eher PJD technisch unterwegs. Alles entwicketl sich von tag zu tag weiter.
der grund idee ist im kopf und der rest durch ausprobieren.
aber grund kentnisse die ich zwangsmäsig gesammelt habe gebe ich gerne weiter.
ein paar close ups von die selbsthergestellte teile mache ich euch auch.

Was mich am meisten abschreckt ist eig. die Ansteuerung durch den Rechner.
Würde gern mal ein Video sehen.

Aus Fehlern lernen wir.

hi ringo, ja das stimmt.
mein mdf cnc wird sicherlich nicht ewig halten. es ist zwar jetzt alles sehr genau und es gibt kein spiel aber profil alu mit richtige spielfreie schienen
echt cnc bauteile wie laufspindeln, schienen, wellen etc.. wäre schon. aber das wird der zweite, mmir ging es darum zu probioeren ob ich sowas hin kriege.
aber ich muss sagen, es funzt schon gut und solange mann kein aluplatte schneiden will und sich wirklich nur auf dünne hölzer und kunststoffe konzentriert
dann gibt es in die nächsten jahre kein spiel. anyway, ich kann teile auch ersetzen.
aber ja ein aluteil baue ich mir auch mal. ich habe ausgerechnet, ich kann eins mit die steuerungs elek. die ich jetzt habe für ca. 500€ bauen.
wenn ich eins kaufen möchte kriege ich eins unter 2000€ gebraucht gar nicht.
jetzt muss ich das nur mit der elektronik fertig kriegen. aber jetzt habe ich zu viel stress wegen der CE_bit.
so erst gobts nur mehr bilder die ich damals auch gemacht habe.

ja häcki, das mit der pc anbindung ist bei mir auch noch nicht fertig.
ich muss noch die processions ausrechnen, sprich 1 dreheung entspricht wie weite fahrt etc, granzen einprogrammieren, pressure stops für zu viel wiederstand,
stopper von fahrwege allgemien etc etc etc etc..
von lauter modding ist de cnc leider vernachlässigt worden, aber nach der CE-Bit geht es weiter. :thumbup:

DAnke, Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, was du uns und auf der CE-Bit vorstellen wirst!

Hab in einem anderen Forum schon vor einiger Zeit einen CNC-Fräsen-Eigenbau gesehen. Vllt. kannst du dir ja noch ein paar Ideen holen

danke, das ist naturlich ein klasse cnc, sehr schon, eigentlich wunderschon.
noch zu teuer von material her für mich.
wenn ich doch nicht so verdammt viele hobbies hätte die alle geld kosten.
ich brauche sponsoren, ich mache alles ohne bis jetzt.
aber der link war gut. preislich ist mein der hit, aber ein alu cnc wäre für längere zeit und harte metal platten aluplatten etc.. tauglich.
naja, wie gesagt dies woodworm cnc ist auch modell 1 A, version 1.0, Edition one.

Cool update. I also like the link of the other cnc milling. I have to agree with Alan-Lee that those aluminum profiles are very expensive. But I also worked with it, and it is very easy to work with the profiles.

@ jeff, nin noch in austrai, fahre am sonntag und werde endlich dem BUCCANEER BAY anfangen und posten. es juckt schon die ganze zeit und ich vermisse mein workshop.

ja es ist eine weile her das ich da mit mein cnc was weiter gebaut habe.

ich glaube kosten technisch war ich alles samt bei ca. 400 euro. bruacht noch ca. 100 bis es fertig ist.

ich hatte probleme mit 3 phasen motoren dann habe ich neue gekauft, netzteile passte nicht dann neu gekauft etc.. weil es so gross ist musste ich platz machen für der RENEGADE damals.

also habe ich mehrere teile jetzt. andere projekte hatten dann gott sei danke ein höher priorität gehabt, RENEGADE, BLACK WIDOW, WICKED WIDOW, COLOSSUS und andere. irgendwann packe ich es noch an, oder verkauft ich es da ich mein philosophie von only handmade is selfmade bei behalten möchte, zumindest was casemodding angeht
