Ancient Corsair by Soccer

This is my friend, Soccer's project I'm just helping him uploading the worklog.

The Ancient Corsair mod will feature mainly Corsair hardware, the MSI motherboard and VGA is on it's way.
The main concept most likely will be changed a bit here and there on the go, but the base of the build is the corsair 900D,
which will be made into a long time crashed, ancient spaceship. There are some things to be implemented alongside the RGB lights,
as soon as there is progress, it will be uploaded soon.

I think it doesn't matter which Hardware is used in a Casemod.
You also can Win DCMM with an Athlon X2 ;)
But, if a Casemodder thinks, his worse Casemod would be a better one of there is Brand new Hardware inside, then something is wrong with him.
So...
It's better to use a 960 in a God Mod, then a 1080 in a bad one ;)

I wanted, and started to answer a few times :gamer:
But had to finish the Mod in time.

THX for the positive feedback!I havent ment, thet the MSI GTX 960 is a bad VGA. No! it IS great, and I love it!
I only wanted to prevent thet someone says something bad abaut it, thet all the other parts are more advanced / stronger, and this part didnt fit in the row. It is (from a lot negative experienc) only a bad reflex, form other forums and platforms. Sorry. Sometimes I forget thet here is a place like Home -> Nice people, and almost a big family!

Mod is finished (at least this one :D) As you can see on this Video

(here should be a picture :D )

I had a few "Intel ATOM CPU" builds (Trophy, Pandora) It is not abaut the HW-s in it. At least not for us!

see the DCMM rules §2.3 about Hardware:

Quoted

Since the spirit and the purpose of each Casemod or Casecon is accommodation of a PC, each case at the DCMM has to come with a fully working computer inside. The modification itself must not prevent the construction from working properly. In case of doubt about the functionality of an exhibit, the jury reserves the right to review the operational capability, and, if not given, to exclude the Casemod or Casecon from the competition. In addition, the original electrical device used for a CE-Mod still has to work properly. Casemods created during the 24h Live-Modding-Challenge are excluded from this rule.

there is no need for top notch hardware.. it just needs to be working to satisfy the rules.
you could bring a working 486 setup if you want.

Yeah its hilarious. I get the same responds on some of my cases. High-end hardware but the GPU is not as powerful. And they imidietly start talking about how bad the GPU is and not about how awesom the mod looks.
