hi everyone, hier ist wieder ein alte projekt von mir, damals habe ich leider nicht so viele bilder gemacht.
ich habe zum ersten mal an diese THE SECRETARY SIDE BOARD lasur in wies benutzt und das holz so abgeschliffen das sein eigene
farbe durch kam um ein worn out used, benutzte look zu bekommen. es ebenfalls glaube ich mein erste projekt womit ich mein
DAUMEN FRÄSER DES TODES getestet habe.
johannes und bertram haben gesehen, steht bei uns in der flur und mittlerweile steht jeder menge krims krams drauf.
ist aber solid as a rock, real sturdy wooden stability.
ich habe es ein etwas, naja nicht ganz aber ein victorian touch gegeben, aber ohne das es zu altmodisch wirkt.
das ganze ist zum schluss mit parkett vesiegelung matt überlackiert um es sicher und strapazierfähig zu machen.
hinten ist ein fach für steckdosen und kabeln gut versteckt. oben sind die 3 schubladen und seitlich vorne die 2 schränke
mit je ein ablagen brett
mein desk kommt auch bald....

Do you use always spruce wood, or did you also use e.g. beech wood?

hi ringo, well actually, believe it or not i now really hate this style. it was more just a bunch of tests to see how the tools i then bought work.
and straight forward symetrical furniture is less of a challenge for me.
the stuff i make now is much more state of the art modern stuff. yes i use other woods too, but as i said, not being a carpenter, i was actually just experimenting so i took cheap spruce. have made a coffe table and tv table though of spruce birch and beech too, also with iron stamped into it, real tough stuff.
the desk i am now making will be absoluteley futuristic and full of technology.
