Project update

Hi Guys!

We started the modding, let's see what we got:

One of the main structural components is NZXT's S340

Even without modding it, we can recommend this case. It's a pleasure to build into it.

As seen on the main concept, we started to build the main pillar:

Soccer adjusts the "S" insignia, from here we can see about how big the build will be:

The S340 in it's final form for the last time:

Aaaaaaand:

Ooops we did it again, but don't worry, it will take it's new form very soon!

See you soon!

Project update

We are progressing with the modding:

The base is now ready and the PSU, motherboard and back panel occupied it's place.
As you can see the PSU will occupy the spine of the build, while the motherboard and the VGA will have a rather usual placing:

We'll be back with more updates soon!

Project update!

Thanks for the positive feedback, it really means a lot!

Today's update is about the textures:

We'll going for the very well known red/blue colors using carbon texture.
As you can see the material we used is not Kryptonite, it's Karbonyte! Haha get it? Oh well.. :P

The carbon textured motherboard and I/O tray is now installed on the top base of the build and
we also made very good progress on polishing other surfaces to advance in the build.

Soon We'll show more in the next post.

See you!

Project update

Hi!

We are advancing with the build, more and more little pieces are adjusted and polished before we can progress towards more and more exciting parts! :D

The "S" insignia and the back panel is now fixed, by the alignment you can see about how the mod will enclose the components in it.

Although it seems a bit raw now, sometimes soon we can show you the surfaces and details we are working on right now. :)

See you soon!

Update

Hi!

In today's post we got most of the structure together. The really detailed work comes from here onward, as the little details, most of the textures and some vital elements has to be applied, but as you can see, the structure is up and more and more stable:

Soon we will show you more and more surfaces getting textures and the tasty gaming hardware occupying it's rightful place. :D

See you soon!

Final project update

Hi!

We are closing in to the finish line. The textures are on and all the hardwares
are in the case connected.

For the base of the build we came up with a concrete look. For applying the materials
we had to be really careful because if we stain the carbon wrapping it could have been tricky to remove.

For the lower base"s decal one of us had to impersonate Superman. :D

As we aim for the design to resemble the Man of Steel's outfit, we fitted it with a cape, and now
there are really minor things left to finish.

Soon we can show you the completed build!

See you soon!

random2k4: Tryed, but I found only "silent" fans. Not the right AIR pressure, and the cape didnt move. Not eaven from Two... I ordert 2 Hi Pressure fans, but didnt arrived in time... :(

Paladin: A Good Question my frend :) It depends on many things...
- This MUST survive the transport to Taiwan...
- IF This will be the "crowd favorite" then it stays in Taiwan, and goes for charity auction.
- If Not, then it must survive the trip back from Taiwan :D

But in the end... Dont worry We have a few other Projekts ;)

Finish!

We are finished!

Below you can see our completed work. Lots of working hours later (completed in one month!) we are happy to see our build completed. It was a really good challenge and we hope
that in the future we'll have challenges like this!

A big Thank You for our sponsors for the great gear they provided, and for WB for this theme!

Regards,

BaluC & Soccer
