Plexi Vacuum Version 1

so, nachdem der Plexi Bender 2 fertig ist habe ich heute in ein 7 stdundige session ein plexi Vacuum gebaut.
Beim BAD-ASS-ASSIN will ich das teile so leicht wie möglich sind oben und es wird daher viel plexi geben.
jetzt bin ich bis auf ein weiter kleine projekt gut gerüstet um dort weiter zu machen.
hab beim zweiten test ein kleine skull gevacuumt,
beim erste test war der plexi zu lange in oven und ist viel zu weich geworden. lauter falten, viel zu floppy
das zweite test ist gut und

der dritte wird noch besser. also das ding saugt super und funzt wunderbar.
video kommt noch.
Kosten ca. 18 euro

Hast du probiert das direkt im Ofen zu machen, also das Blech auf die untere Schiene, das Objekt drauf und sobald das Plexi weich wird leicht nachdrücken, somit hast du eine bessere Kontrolle und eine falls nötig längere Verarbeitungszeit.

Hat mir mal ein alter Hase erzählt.

P.S. Topflappen und Ofenhandschuhe sind nur was für Pussys :lol:

yeah. bin deine Meinung.

nee ich benutze kein blech, sondern mein rahmen ist doppelt, unten und oberhalb von das plexi. plexi ist eingespannt mit flügelmutteren und so auf alles seiten fest.

das rahmen ist genau so breit wie ein ofen blech damit ich es von die höhe hier so rein stecken kann wie ich will je nach plexi stärke.

da es nur 25 bis 30 Sekunden braucht bis das plexi warm und schwabbellig wird wird das holz ohne brennung wieder raus genommen. da es kein ofen blech gibt hängt das plexi leicht durch und mann weis, aha jetzt ist es soweit. der erste test lief schief weil ich nur 1mm plexi genommen habe und zu lang gewartet, es war schon ca. 20cm durchgehangen. aber auch das ist ein schone Entdeckung, da habe ich auch eine Idee dadurch bekommen, danke für den tipp trotzdem.

@ pala, geklappt hat es mit beiden, der erste war einfach zu lange drin und war 1mm

das zweite war 4mm wie hier in die bilder. je dünner der plexi desto schneller muss es raus. nach 25 bis 30 Sekunden war der halte rahmen nicht mal warm aber der plexi schon floppy.

kannst du das test stück evt von unten oder von oben lackeiren??? dann sieht man die konturen besser....

ich kann mir vorstellen, das bei 4mm schon noch einige konturen zu erkennen sind... aber bei 1mm besser...

Nen Kumpel von mir hat auch ne tiefziehkiste de hat über der Kiste ne spirale von nem elektro grill mit klammern für den abstand des Rahmen mit plexi zur Spirale. Wenn's warm genug is zieht es runter aufs Vakuum

1mm ist tatsächlich besser was dir Konturen angehen, aber 4mm beim ersten test waren auch ganz gut, besser als ich erwartet habe.

und hier der Video mit ein dritte test, diesmal mit ein andere plexi, ging gut eignetlich, sehr schnell.

weis mit 3mm, muss weniger lang drin sein, ist noch schneller heis.

my pleasure, in weise wäre es besser gewesen, hab aber keine weiser lack, der 4mmwar aber nicht weich genug, hätte länger drin sein müssen.

das weise 3mm musste mann etwas schneller raus nehmen. alles lernphase, gibt keine regeln da die verschiedene plexis stärken und Qualitäten wirklich verschieden auch reagieren.

das weise ist eigentlich billig obi zeug, gefällt mir am besten von die Verarbeitbarkeit hier beim vaccumen. ist dasselber womit ich das 24 std. mod gebaut habe in August.

kannste evt, ne kleine anleitung schreiben? wie viel grad der ofen haben sollte? werde mir das Ding nächsten Monat nach bauen. dann mal gucken, wie druck stabil das Plexi dann ist.

@ mav, eigentlich bin ich auch noch in der test Phase aber 250° ist gut.

zum plexi gibt es eher keine richtiger regel.

die besten Ergebnisse habe ich auf das untere blech höhe beim 3mm weis. aber auch nur für nichtmal 30 Sekunden. war eh zu lang.

also mit timer muss mann arbeiten wenn man einmal schon weis welche plexi. 1mm wäre irgendwo bei 8 und 12 Sekunden denke ich.

mein Totenkopf Rohling war leider auch hohl was nicht so optimal ist, nur gegenstände drauf legen die massiv sind und nicht nach innen unten gehen

sonst kriegt mann das Rohling nicht mehr raus wenn der plexi nach ca 20 sekunden hart ist.

ganz wichtitg ist der halterahmen, muss ausen genau so breit sein wie der ofen falls du mit ein ofen arbeitest. für the dcmm baue ich ein heiskiste mit Tungsten draht und trichter nach oben. aber zuhause ist der ofen dran. und ja vergiss Polystyrol, ist scheise und stinkt wie die hölle. es wird nur oberflächlich weich und innen noch hart das man es nicht richtig runter ziehen kann.

so thats just about it flo, bin aus dein Modell gespannt. loch blech und kiste muss super dicht sein dann klappt das schon.
