How about an active venting coolsystem on the top of the system like on the Alienware Aurora ALX?

I like active vents, but Ares is too compact case to fit that.

Its looking good! 8o
On the left Side, I'd replaced the wooden square with a Plexi-window.

There is a good reason for that square-you will see it in my next update. ;)

fantastic design, i love it, i wouldnt even paint it, would just leave it as it is , but i am sure you have more good ideas coming
:D with paint you wouldnt even see that its wood.
the only thing that is disturbing, but thats just a philosophy difference, not critic, is that its lasercut and not hand cut.
handcut can never be done repeatedly with such precision. i think automatisation will kill the modding scene soon.
like i said, its a statement and philosophy, not critic, (before everone starts criticising my words again, just because i said what they dont want to hear) :|
i love your idea and design. well done mate..

Dont see what it is, see what it could be!

Looks very good regarding your creativity. But like Alan-Lee just said it's to much automation for me too. It sure wouldn't be possible to cut all the parts accurate enough by hand to fit them together that perfect like it is done here, so you have to lasercut them. But I prefer true handwork like it is done for example at the "TheCube" project and so I can claim higher credit for his "real handwork" than your lasercutting.
And just to point that out again: Your project is very creative and I really like it! I am just a little bit bothered about the way of your working.
