Amd boxed Kühler Umbau

Heute hab ich mich ein wenig mit meinem Amd boxed Kühler beschäftigt.

Hintergrund: Northbridge wird sehr heiß und will gekühlt werden, außerdem sind boxed Kühler nicht gerade fürs leise sein bekannt.


Die Idee ist eigentlich recht simpel: einfach eine Halterung für einen größeren Lüfter bauen, der auch die Northbridge überragt und mit kühlen kann.

Ich denke dazu gibt es nicht viel zu sagen, die Bilder sind ja selbsterklärend.













Ich find das ist eine deutlich bessere Lösung als an den Northbridge Kühler noch umständlich einen mini-Lüfter anzubringen, oder einen Topflow Kühler zu kaufen.

Die Temperatur unter Last beläuft sich auf angenehme ~37°C. Dazu muss man aber sagen, dass sie davor auch nicht schlechter waren, da nur ein Athlon ii x2 240 (62W tdp; @ 3,08 Ghz; vcore: 1,19V) gekühlt werden muss.

Schöner Nebeneffekt: der Ram bekommt auch ein Lüftchen ab.

37° unter normaler last oder unter prime95 mit small FFTs?

Sieht gut aus.
Achja, der Boxed Kühler von meinem Athlon 5370 is schon leise.
Er ist nicht komplett unhörbar, aber so laut wie ein AMD boxed Kühler auf nem FX8350 ist er nicht.

Der boxed Kühler der Pentium G3258 Anniversary is auch relativ leise (@Stock)


Aber back to topic: is ne gute lösung von dir :thumbsup:

Danke,

die 37°C hab ich unter Prime95 [in-place large FFTs (maximum heat, power consumption, some RAM tested)] nach ca. einer halben Stunde. Ich blick da nicht so durch bei den Einstellungen.

Edit: Ausgelesen hab ich das mit Coretem64 1.0 RC6 und Speedfan 4.5.1.

Nagut, dann lass ich mal small ffts laufen. Muss ich deswegen verstehen warum bei Large ffts maximum heat steht?!
Aktuell hab ich 36°C und der Lüfter dreht bei 1010 U/min.

OK, im Prinzip ist es ja auch egal, du kannst ja mal dein Prime updaten ^^

Um jetzt konkrete Ergebnisse zu haben sollte man aber auf jeden Fall auch die Raumtemperatur messen und anhand der Differenz bewerten ;)

Wie auch immer, die Temperaturen sind ja mehr als gut, da kommts dann auch nicht mehr auf 2°C mehr oder weniger an.
Das einzige, was mich beunruhigt ist die Tatsache, dass meine Festplatte wärmer als meine Cpu ist :shit: .
